– A sudden illness has forced Katy Perry to cancel a couple shows. The “Firework” star will reschedule two dates after food poisoning left her with severe dehydration.
One of the canceled concerts was set for Chicago, while the other was scheduled for St. Paul, Minnesota. The singer promised to make up the shows.
“Chicago and St Paul – I’m so sorry to have to postpone . . . but I’ll be back!” she tweeted, adding on her website, “I am going to return in a few weeks to give them the very best show ever!”
Perry continues to promote her latest album, Teenage Dream, which came out last year. Perry’s next scheduled tour date is July 13 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
